Hier kommt so einiges zusammen. Wegen Labels wie Saddle Creek, habe ich vor einigen Jahren angefangen über Musik zu schreiben. Und wegen Künstlern wie BLACK BELT EAGLE SCOUT höre ich überhaupt noch Musik. Vor einigen Monaten hab ich den ‚Soft Stud‘ gehört und war sofort hin und weg. Denn das ist genau meine Musik, aber es war nur ein Song. Seit letzter Woche ist nun auch das dazugehörige Album ‚Mother Of My Children‘ draußen und es ist noch besser als ich dachte. Jeder Song ist ein Edelstein, irgendwo zwischen Radiohead, Portishead und Courtney Barnett. Den schönsten Song ‚Indians Never Die‘ gibt es auch noch als Video.
