Über ein Jahr schrieb und tüftelte die dänische Singer Songwriterin Marie Fjeldsted an ihrer Hommage für ihre Freundin Michelle: “I’ve had sky-high ambitions with this song, and it’s actually taken quite a few years to fully accomplish it. It is written for my dear friend, who is a complex and fascinating person, and the song had to be just as special as her. We are like night and day, and The Deeper the Dark puts music to the greatness of feeling seen by someone who is so different from yourself,” Marie shares.
